Gymnastics and Fitness Programmes

Wonderful Moms & Tots class (18-24 months)

In Wonderful Moms & Tots, children explore the wonders of music and movement through gymnastics. Tots are introduced to various movement patterns and refine fundamental gross motor skills. Various music instruments and basic gym equipment are used during the class. Parents are welcome to view the class and to participate with their children.

Class duration: 30-45 minutes

Super Waddler Gymnastics (2-3 years)

In Super Waddler Gymnastics, children learn to follow directions, share with friends and participate in a variety of activities designed especially for this age group. The basic dominant movement patterns in gymnastics are introduced and children learn movement skills associated with these patterns.

Class duration: 45-60 minutes

Great Kinder Gym Gymnastics (4-5 years)

In Great Kinder Gym Gymnastics, children are placed in appropriate levels based on the Sporty Joe’s “Colour Award System”. These levels allow kids to concentrate on specific expectations and achieve the greatest level of success. The children will are assessed each class and evaluated at the end of every gymnastic term.

Class duration: 60 minutes

Fantastic Recreational Gymnastics

In Fantastic Recreational Gymnastics, participants enjoy learning new gymnastics skills while progressing through the Sporty Joe’s “Color Award System”. This programme introduces and challenges on each gymnastic apparatus. Children in this program progress toward performances, demonstrations and competitions.

Class duration: 1.5-2 hours

Amazing Competitive Gymnastics

In Amazing Competitive Gymnastics, gymnasts train on all apparatus and compete in various competitions throughout Singapore and abroad. The children progressively train a greater number of hours before competitions. Gymnasts are also involved in various performances including the Healthy Lifestyle performance.

Class duration: 4-6 hours

Terrific Trampoline & Acro

In Terrific Trampoline and Arco, participants use double-mini-trampolines and mini-trampoline. Children will enjoy the combination of jumping and tumbling in the each of the activities. Participants learn foot-to-foot skills, rotations, landing, and basic gymnastic skills such as cartwheels, flips, strength skills and balances. Participants are also involved in demonstration and promotions for Sporty Joe’s throughout Singapore.

Class duration: 1 hour

Spectacular Display Team Gymnastics

Amazing Display Team Gymnastics is designed for companies and organizations that are interested to have children’s Gymnastics & Tumbling displays for special events. The Sporty Joe’s Display Team has been very active throughout Singapore performing in various exhibitions, open houses and "Gymnastics For All" promotions.

Wonderful Stunt Performers Class

Sporty Joe’s has been involved in many workshops providing “Stunt Skills” for drama groups, schools and commercials for television. Sporty Joe’s offers a variety of Stunt Workshops for children and adults that can be used for theatre performances and productions. In these classes, participants are introduced to:

Competitive Aerobics

Sporty Joe’s offers competitive aerobic classes for both secondary school students and adults who are interested in learning to compete in aerobic competitions or just want to keep fit. In these classes, participants learn the basic skills of gymnastics which can be incorporated into aerobic routines. All fundamental strength, balance and aerobic skills elements are taught.

Class duration: 2 hours

Routine Building and Pyramids

In Routine Building, children build gymnastic routines and pyramids. Routine building includes building routines on all gymnastic apparatus for both girls and boys. Pyramid building involves many conditioning and strengthening exercises on the floor exercise. Participants perform for special events throughout Singapore and abroad.

Class duration: 2 hours
